Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peranan yang penting bagi kehidupan siswa secara holistik. Sekolah selaku institusi pendidikan formal perlu untuk memperhatikan Pendidikan Agama Kristen dapat berjalan baik dan berdampak dalam kehidupan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran lainnya. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple purposive sampling. Jumlah populasi adalah siswa SMP kelas VIII Salatiga dengan jumlah 32 sekolah. Dari 32 SMP tersebut dipilih satu sekolah yang mewakili yang memiliki kemampuan akademis yang setara. Penelitian ini mengunakan desain metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan ex post facto. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 24. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa nilai signifikansi (Sign.) variabel sebesar 0,284 > 0,05 yang artinya nilai tersebut lebih besar dari 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis H0 dalam penelitian ini diterima yaitu variabel pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (X) tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran yang lain di SMP Salatiga (Y).
